Choosing The Right Font Style for Your Brand

Choosing fonts for any new logo design or branding content can be one of the most exciting parts of creating your brand style. It is one of the first steps you take in creating your brand’s personality, and when done right, your font choices can help set the tone for any story you are trying to tell. Let us take a quick look at the four different types of fonts and how to find the perfect fit for your brand. There are four main font types used within the graphic design world. Serif, Sans Serif, Script, and Display. Each font style is unique and sets a different tone for your content. It is primarily used in editorial text, printed works, and titles. Serif fonts convey a feeling that a brand is established and serious. They are commonly perceived as traditional, educational, timeless, and informative, as seen in the logo design below:

On the other hand, Sans-serif fonts sends out a message that a brand is modern and casual. It is considered crisp, clean, concise, friendly, and minimalistic.  Script

 Display
